Mom visited! We ate Mexican food! I walked the dogs!
(We also did some yardwork, but I’ll wait until some things start blooming before subjecting you to dirt photos. Until then just dogs and food probably.)
Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week so far. I just learned I get a 3 day weekend so I’m planning all sorts of ways to spend it. Ideas so far include sleeping, dog walking, catching up on past newspapers and snacking. Maybe I’ll catch up on fashion week from the comfort of my couch. I can feel your jealousy through the internet.
Sometimes it is difficult to get out of bed in the morning.
I’ve been working for 12 days straight. I am so incredibly happy that it is Friday. I am so happy, so very happy. Here’s to a lovely weekend to be had by all and a pig and monkey combo. I wonder what this means astrologically speaking?

We were surprised to be one of only 3 or 4 groups visiting this new park/trail thanks to a low readership of the newspaper. This is probably one of the only times I’ve been happy that people don’t read print journalism anymore, we had the place to ourselves and maybe even took some samples for further inspection. I am assuming Devin will be posting more detailed info about the actual fossils and rocks found here, but I am here to report that fun was had by all and that it was a gorgeous day!
